Pittsburgh DJ - Follow up from 12/5/09

I just wanted to post the nice compliment I got from Bobby Thompson on my Pittsburgh wedding DJ, uplightng and monogram projection services. Bobby and his wife Megan had their reception on December 5th at Phipps Conservatory. To see more information on the reception click here.

Pittsburgh Wedding DJ - 12/19/09

Entertainment Tonite's Pittsburgh DJ service was at DiSalvo's Station Restaurant in Latrobe on Saturday, December 19 for the Neil / Legge wedding reception.

DiSalvo's, a nationally registered historic landmark, is a wonderful choice for a wedding reception. The food and the service are outstanding.

In keeping with the Christmas theme, the bridal party entrance music was Tran-Siberian Orchestra's, "Wizards in Winter". The music for cocktails and dinner was a mix of songs (including Christmas favorites) from jazz singers such as Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett.

Chelsea and Anthony shared their first dance to the song, "As Time Goes By", by Frank Sinatra. The dance music was a mix of current top 40 along with wedding favorites like the Cha Cha Slide.

This was the third Christmas themed wedding reception that I performed at this year. I've got to say that at all three events the decor was beautiful, the service was great and a good time was had by all!

Pittsburgh Wedding DJ - 12/12/09

This image is a photo taken with my iphone from the Young / Ryland wedding reception on December 12. The Holy Cross Banquet Hall in Mt Lebanon was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Entertainment Tonite's Pittsburgh DJ service provided the music.

The bridal party's entrance music was, "I Gotta a Feeling", by the Black Eyed Peas. Marci and Robert entered the hall and immediately shared their first dance. The song they chose was, "You Are" by Jimmy Wayne. The bride and groom selected a wide range of music for dancing, everything from 60's music and Motown to current top 40. The party was still hopping when the night came to a close.

Here are just a few more iphone pictures of the hall. It really looked great!

Pittsburgh Wedding DJ - 12/5/09

This image, taken with my iphone, is from the Baloh / Thompson wedding reception that was at Phipps Conservatory on December 5. In addition to our regular DJ service, Entertainment Tonite provided the custom GOBO. We also provided an additional disc jockey set up for the couple's cocktail hour, which was in a different room at Phipps.

The people at Phipps were great hosts and the venue was spectacular. After Megan and Bobby's "Penn State Themed" entrance they shared their first dance together to the song, "You are the Best Thing". Once the dance floor was opened the couple, the bridal party and the guests kept the floor packed all night.

Custom Wedding GOBOs

Entertainment Tonite's Pittsburgh DJ service is now offering custom GOBO design and projection services. The image to the left is just one example of our custom GOBO work. This GOBO service is becoming a very popular wedding DJ add-on.

Pittsburgh Wedding Videography - Music Edits 3

Here is the final installment of my three part series on creative use of music in our Pittsburgh wedding videos. At Entertainment Tonite, we pride ourselves on creating unique videos for all of our clients.

In this video, the father of the groom performed a song that he had written for the occasion. We combined the song with footage of the bride and groom's departure from Westwood Golf Club.

Pittsburgh Wedding Videography - Music Edits

This is the second of three posts about Entertainment Tonite's wedding videography editing style. The previous post showed video of the bridal preparation along with a song that was sung during the ceremony.

Unique Music for Your Pittsburgh Wedding Video

Many couples have wonderful music performed at their ceremonies and receptions. At Entertainment Tonite, we want to use this music in creative ways when editing wedding videos.

Over the next several weeks I will post three different video segments from the White / Szepesi wedding. Each of these segments contains a song that was performed on the couple's wedding day.

The first video features a song from the matron of honor's husband. Rather than show him singing this song, we used footage of the bride preparing for her wedding day.
